Bypass Android Anti-Theft

 

ok so this is my first how to and i decided to create one for the newer factory reset protection (frp) aka anti theft protection because i figure there are many INNOCENT people who got locked out or forgot their gmail login (me included) that could use some help to be able to use their phones again
First of all, as of 12/7/2015 the only devices able to bypass this lock are
All Samsung Devices , Metro Pcs devices with access to browser ( will explain later)and so far no tmobile devices have been bypassed.
There are many ways that people have found to exploit and bypass the frp. There are 2 methods to do this all using some form of exploiting the file manager application.
Methods:

1. otg transfer method
2. Browser .apk download method

Method 1
NOTE: This exploit is Samsung device specific.
The otg cable transfer method was founded by the people over at rootjunkie. Im not gonna go into much detail about this exploit because rootjunkie already has a pretty easy to follow guide and video on their website. Video guide

This exploit is pretty staight forward.

1. Materials:
2. otg cable
3. usb with samsung bypass apk ( found in description of the video)

once you get the usb fitted into an otg cable a device manager will pop up allowing you to install and run the application. the application will allow you to factory reset without needing to enter frp mode.
Method 2
NOTE: This exploit is metro Pcs carrier specific.
The browser apk download method is fairly cheaper because you dont need to buy a otg cable and a usb.

Step 1: Turn on Overview Through Switch Access

navigate to Switch access found in the accessibility menu Then at the bottom tap on overview and set it to the volume down button.

Step 2: Follow Instructions

exit the accessibility menu then press next and follow the steps to get to the google verification menu.

Step 3: Enter the Metro Browser

This is the most Important step! click on the gmail input box and next to the #'s and symbols icon, there is a settings icon. tap on it and you should be taken to the keyboard settings. Tap on the update word suggestion then privacy policy then tap on the blue link youll find after scrolling down a bit. be sure to tap on open link with METRO BROWSER

Step 4: Download Apk

once you get that set up, have a friend or yourself send an email to your yahoo email account with the extracted files in this .ZIP then download from your device and a choose package installer.

Step 5: Installation

if you didnt have unknown sources ticked before you tried to factory reset, a prompt will ask you to enable it. Once enabled, proceed with installation for account lock.apk

Step 6: Open App When Finished Installing

Once finished with installing, on the bottom right it will say open, tap it.

Step 7: Open Up Overveiw

the app will open the settings, dont need to do anything here, then switch back to metro browser using the overview button.

Step 8: Shortcut Creator

download install and open. search for reset in the input box and settings will pop up. look through the setting subsection till you find reset and tap to open. Follow the instructions it gives you to delete and you will now have a brand new device ;)
