Here is how to create one “RegistrySizeLimit”

Note this video is the responce to:

Windows Installer Module, Windows Installer, Update problems – Error 1450 (Windows 7, build 7600)

I just found out that Vista uses the same version of REGEDIT as Windows 7 does, so the source code for creating registry entry applys for Vista too. You may notice in regedit help in Vista that it says that version of REGEDIT is 6.00. But actually is 5.00., the same version as in Windows 7. Strange but true.

Copy this code for crating a new registry entry!:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControl]

“RegistrySizeLimit”=dword:ffffffff

source

Adding the registry entry! For Windows 7 and Vista!
